Identity and Access Control
All students, faculty, and staff of District 126 are assigned a zbID. A zbID is the online identity that will allow access to approved applications and other computing resources.
Technology Services provides support for zbIDs, such as password resets or account creation.
Single-Sign On Integration
ZB∙IT can integrate with any application that supports SAML. This integration allows applications to use the zbID that students and staff already know, further secured with 2FA when off-campus.
LDAP is a method of providing identity and access management via a username/password combination over the Internet. ZBTHS is in the process of changing applications to SSO via SAML and will no longer support new LDAP integrations.
