About Zion-Benton Township High School District 126

Zion-Benton Township High School District 126 serves approximately 2,500 students in grades 9–12 from the communities of Zion, Beach Park, Winthrop Harbor, and portions of Wadsworth. The district is comprised of Zion-Benton Township High School and Zion-Benton East, providing students with multiple pathways to achieve success in college, career, and life.

District 126 is committed to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and student growth through rigorous coursework, career and technical education opportunities, fine arts programs, athletics, and comprehensive student support services. Guided by its mission to promote self-worth, social responsibility, and lifelong learning in partnership with the community, the district empowers students to thrive in today’s global society.
