Welcome to the Safety and Attendance Office. The District 126 Safety and Attendance Office is located by the Zion-Benton Twp. High School Courtyard Cafeteria.
The Safety and Attendance Office is where students must go when they need to sign in or out of the building, get a student ID (temporary or permanent), register for a temporary one-day parking permit, or pick up various items that may be dropped off from home. Students who are concerned about their or another's safety, who see or hear something suspicious or concerning, or who may need assistance with a parking lot issue may report these concerns to the Safety and Attendance Office.
Late to School
Students who are late to school are required to sign in at the front entrance of their school.
Lost and Found
Students who lose any items of value may go to the Safety and Attendance Office and request a special Lost/Stolen Report Form at which point our dedicated staff will do their best to assist the owner. Any students who find valuables that do not belong to them are required to bring them to the Safety and Attendance Office at their earliest convenience.
The District 126 Summer School Office is located in the ZBTHS Safety and Attendance Office. Each year District 126 offers summer courses during which students in need of repeating a course may do so for up to two courses per Summer School session. Driver's Education and Summer Physical Education are open to all students who wish to repeat the class or to take the class ahead of time (seats are limited). The District also offers dual credit elective courses in partnership with the College of Lake County on a first come first served basis for those students who qualify.
