Increase Academic Proficiency for All Learners

DISTRICT 126 POINT OF PRIDE
Academic achievement in English Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Science remains a focus across both campuses. These subjects were central to our 2021–2025 Strategic Plan and continue to be monitored closely as we move into our Vision 2030 priorities. While we celebrate areas of growth, we are equally committed to accelerating progress in subjects where performance remains a challenge.

English Language Arts (ELA) – 2025

  • District 126 Overall: 33%

ELA outcomes are a key component of long-term academic success and college/career readiness. Our educators continue to implement focused interventions, curriculum refinements, and literacy strategies to support stronger outcomes in this area.

Math – 2025

  • District 126 Overall: 14%

Mathematics remains one of our greatest areas for improvement. We are actively responding with enhanced instructional support, data-driven interventions, and aligned curriculum updates aimed at building stronger foundational and problem-solving skills.

Science – 2025

  • District 126 Overall: 29%

Science performance continues to reflect significant growth and stands out as a Point of Pride for District 126. With the expansion of updated lab spaces, hands-on learning, and NGSS-aligned instruction, students are increasingly demonstrating a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and critical thinking skills.
