Increase in Freshman On-Track

DISTRICT 126 POINT OF PRIDE:
In 2025, 90% of 9th grade students were on track to graduate.

Freshman On-Track was a key priority under our 2021–2025 Strategic Plan and remains a district-wide effort as we move forward with Vision 2030. Research shows that students who complete their ninth-grade year on track are nearly four times more likely to graduate from high school than those who are not—making this one of the most important early indicators of student success.

We are proud to share this growth as a Point of Pride for Zion-Benton. These results reflect the strong support systems, high expectations, and responsive interventions in place to help every student thrive from the very beginning of their high school journey.
