• On behalf of the Board of Education, administration, and staff of Zion-Benton Twp. High School District 126, welcome to our website!

    District 126 serves approximately 2,650 high school students from the communities of Beach Park, Winthrop Harbor, Zion, and portions of Wadsworth across its two campuses, Zion-Benton Twp. High School and New  Tech High @ Zion-Benton East, as well as via the Lake County Tech Campus and Special Education District of Lake County.  We are proud of our rich heritage and diversity, often being described as "a slice of America."

    District 126's academic and extra-curricular opportunities are vast and provide impressive opportunities for students to be successful.  Indeed, District 126 students have been accepted into the finest colleges and universities; received academic and extracurricular regional, state, and national awards; and provided countless hours of community service.

    The Superintendent's Office is the District's primary central office and is responsible for all district matters under the oversight of the District 126 Board of Education.  The Superintendent's Office is responsible for assisting with the governance of and strategic planning for the District by supporting all aspects of the Board of Education's efforts and serves as the human resource office for all licensed positions.  The Superintendent leads a high-performing team of executive-level administrators who attend to the day-to-day operations of the District and carrying out the District's vision of providing all students equal access to life-changing opportunities that lead to success in and beyond high school.
