At [email protected], the social work office is an integral part of Student Services. The social worker provides individual and group counseling services, support, and case management for New Tech students. Working to build relationships with students, the social worker also connects students with outside resources in the community if an issue requires resources that the school cannot provide.
A part of the Student Support Team, the social worker coordinates with the guidance counselor, assistant principal, and teachers to look for connections between various environments to help intervene on a student's behalf.
